Taking private lessons offers one-on-one instruction with our teachers.  You'll be face to face in our studio learning music/instrument skills and practicing.

When a student begins working with the instructor, rapport is built.  After beginning lessons, teachers get to know their students and even parents well.  Students get to know their teachers.  A musical learning connection happens. Every student is assigned one teacher to provide guidance, instruction, communication, and work through each weekly lesson. This helps build their foundation through consistency and considers each student as an individual with specific needs and goals each lesson. 

 

We know that each child or adult student is different and continuity is important.  We do not use substitute instructors and provide only highly qualified instructors of your instrument.  You will work with your assigned instructor

Our Piano/Voice/Woodwinds Teachers hold either a Bachelors or a Masters in music and/or Performance, some of whom have careers teaching college level students.  With decades of private instruction experience between them, our Piano leaders share special techniques and guidance from their own personal experiences. Their extra-curricular and career endeavors are musical, even beyond their teaching here!

​​​Our Guitar, Percussion and Violin Teachers have strong backgrounds in music performance, production and music theory and musicianship.  Their unique experience and musical journeys bring decades of higher education, technique, skill, and artistic approach to music learning.  Musical art is not only a beautiful topic, it's a healthy outlet that nurtures a learner while achieving artistic goals.  Our teachers have performed, recorded or even produced music on a professional level.

We offer private lessons to ages approximately 5 and up.  We've included recommended ages for each instrument as a guide.  These are based on our own experiences.  All children are different.  If you have a child that you believe may be ready to start lessons, and you're not sure, give us a call and we can talk through it.  We offer group Preschool Musikgarten classes to introduce babies to music in a Mommy/Daddy & Me music class format. ​​​

Parents of children are welcomed to attend in the practice room anytime!

 

We want you and your child to feel comfortable learning. We provide a waiting area for you while your child is practicing.  We are also walking distance from the Mabank Food Trucks!

Private Face to Face Lessons are a highly personalized learning experience.  Every student brings something different to class in their personalities, experiences, backgrounds, and goals.

 

​​Being face-to-face and in person with the instructor helps prevent poor technique and bad habits, builds confidence, supports goal-oriented accountability and practices discipline.
