Having grown up in the Cedar Creek Lake area and graduating from Mabank High School, Daniel is very thankful to be able to share his passion for music with his hometown. His teaching specialties are voice, drum kit, and beginner piano. He studied voice, percussion, and drum kit with Mabank High School; voice and music education with Baylor University; voice and piano with Dallas Baptist University; and he is currently studying vocal music education at the University of Texas at Tyler. During his time at these schools, he has enjoyed performing in a multitude of musical theatre productions at high school, collegiate, and amateur levels. He loves singing/playing music in a variety of styles and genres, including praise and worship, musical theatre, opera, jazz, blues, classic rock, bluegrass, swing, classical, and more. With over 15 years of performing experience and 8 years of teaching experience, Daniel is not new to music education.   He is excited to keep learning and growing as a musician, and he looks forward to sharing that excitement with his students at Music Play Love.

 

In addition to teaching, Daniel leads worship at Cedar Creek Bible Church in Seven Points, and he is pursuing a life in ministry.
